Rules at Spring Lea Fishery

 ANYONE NOT COMPLYING WITH THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE

**ANYONE CAUGHT REMOVING FISH FROM THIS COMPLEX WILL BE PROSECUTED AND BANNED**

  •  BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY, MAXIMUM SIZE 12.
  •  ONLY FISHERY NETS TO BE USED (PLEASE BRING OWN POLE, NO KEEP NETS WHILST PLEASURE FISHING).
  •  FISHERY PELLETS MUST BE USED.
  •  ALL FISH OVER 4oz MUST BE NETTED.
  •  NO BOILIES, BLOOD WORM, JOKER OR LIQUIDISED BAIT TO BE USED.
  •  NO BRAIDED LINES.
  •  NO SURFACE FISHING.
  •  FISH MUST NOT BE HANDLED WITH CLOTHS OR RAGS.
  •  TICKETS ARE PAYABLE AT THE BAIT BOX, YOUR PEG WILL ALSO BE ALLOCATED (updated due to current restrictions).
  •  NO NIGHT FISHING.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult over the age of 21 at all times.
  • We are open all year round, open daily from 8am until 8pm. 
  • Charges are £8.00 for one rod or £10.00 for two rods each per day (MAXIMUM OF TWO RODS). £6.00 for children up to 14 years old.
  • All cars to be parked in the car park.
  •  MATCH FISHING fish under 3lb to be kept in a separate net, large fish must be weighed first. (NOT AVAILABLE AT PRESENT).

Maximum Bait

  • Hemp, Castor and maggot - 4 pints in total.
  • Worms - 1 kg.
  • Sweetcorn 3 x 198g tins.
  • Meat 2 x 290g tins with fat removed.

  • No litter to be left behind, Please use the bins provided or take it home with you
  • A valid NRA rod licence is required.

ANYONE NOT COMPLYING WITH THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND BANNED, IF UNSURE PLEASE ASK DON'T TAKE CHANCES.

NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
